Scott Neubauer BS MPA
Scott spent 35 years in law enforcement, serving as Chief of Police in Palmyra, WI for the last 22 of those years. He is a life member of the WI Chiefs of Police Association and his committee memberships included Crime Prevention, Fourth Class Cities, Amber Alert and chair of the User Group. Scott served a three-year term on the WI Attorney General’s task force on Children in Need. He has evaluated child abuse prevention grant proposals for the WI Department of Justice and has assisted numerous law enforcement agencies investigate child abuse cases.
Scott has interviewed more than 250 abused children and the resulting prosecution led to 15 prison terms including three life terms. Scott received his BS in Criminal Justice from UW Milwaukee and Masters in Public Administration from UW Oshkosh. He is the author of The Relationship Between Sexual Abuse and Criminal Activity. In addition, he received the 2004 Victim Witness Advocacy Award for Law Enforcement from the WI Attorney General. Scott has been conducting group presentations since 2000 and has been a Criminal Justice lecturer at UW Whitewater.
